Walking

So today I braved my neighborhood and took both boys and our two pugs for a walk on our own. I am super grateful for babywearing at times like this. I was able to wear Little #2, hold a leash and keep a vigilant eye on Little Man. Dogs were happy, Little #2 was comfy and Little Man was free to pick up sticks, watch bugs and kick rocks.
Me? I feel accomplished. I overcame a silly fear I have that I cannot walk the dogs and keep Little Man safe.
So what have you done as a parent that you were especially proud of?

  1. Woot! Just going out on my own with two kids, like running errands, and putting two kids to bed at once, seemed like huge accomplishments. (They still do, ha.) I’m also proud that I learned how to breastfeed while babywearing. That lets me continue on with Mikko while Alrik gets what he needs.
